Information and materials

Using pencil and felt tips, because this is what children often use to draw, and because I try to bring a child's distance and surprise to the issues I address, and using a squiggly line, because each column starts with a thought and I don't know where it's going, and nor, say my readers, do they, and full of twists and turns because I like very long sentences with lots of subordinate clauses, because the world is very beautiful, as well as very complicated, and I try to make each attempt to address complication into a pretty picture, but a pretty verbal picture, because I can't draw.
