Information and materials
A piece of previously unexposed colour photographic paper tipped onto the page.
That notionally it will perpetually accumulate the traces of the varied light of its environment but also even undeveloped the paper’s emulsions will subtly show the ever changing effect of this on its surface.
Time and the activation of the space from page to page are not only essential active elements in the use of the book as medium in my own work but are to some extent also its subject. The work encompasses the movement and connections between instances of shared characteristics in the influence on it of film and experimental writing. There is a materialisation of the ephemeral, of the time of reading and of the return to the physicality of the book.
